Wattle blossom fill our paddocks with a sea of yellow

Spring at Rylstone Botanicals

Posted by Sarah MacMaster on

Spring has arrived at Rylstone Botanicals, and with it, paddocks full of golden wattle. It's such a beautiful time of year here — cool nights, warm days, blossom everywhere, and our essential oil plants springing back to life after winter.

August brought the introduction of our 1 litre refills, using 80% less plastic than our standard packaging and giving customers an easy way to restock and save money while cutting down on waste. We've also introduced larger refill sizes for our B2B customers, which reduces plastic use further and saves them money too.

Back at the farm, we've been busy planting more lavender and kunzea, and trialling a few other native botanical species to complement our range. At the same time, we're getting everything ready for the harvest season, which is fast approaching.

We've welcomed several new guest houses to our growing list of premium accommodation stockists, spanning from Far North Queensland down to coastal Queenscliff, and inland to our own beautiful Mid-Western region of NSW.

This weekend we're proud to be sponsoring the wonderful Cementa Festival, a biennial contemporary arts festival held in our neighbouring town of Kandos. Sponsoring events like this is always a highlight for us — a chance to support the region and the incredible creative talent that brings so much joy to the thousands of visitor who flock to our region for this 4 day festival.

Our retail presence continues to grow too, with Cloth & Feather joining us as our exclusive stockist in Mudgee. If you're after anything in high-end home design, Cloth & Feather is not to be missed next time you're in town.

Looking ahead to the rest of September, we're hard at work filling orders and building up stock ahead of the Christmas rush, which kicks off in October.

Thank you, as always, for the overwhelming support and lovely feedback you continue to share with us. We can't wait to get your next order on its way.

From our farm to your home,
The Rylstone Botanicals Team
